Rite of Spring Gala Event
A stark contrast from the jewel-toned metallic 2018 invitation, the Concert Artists Guild (CAG) wanted the 2019 Rite of Spring Gala brand design to be bright and bold. We selected a palette of vivid colors that would contrast well against white or black. The primary event identity featured the 2019 Rite of Spring logo framed by a colorful eye-catching floral illustration against a rich black background.
The invitation suite was printed on a bright white stock which made the colors pop off the page. Design elements included clean, structured typography mixed with a bit of playful type, a touch of floral accents, and bright pink "flags" to highlight call-to-action items. To be sure the invitation stood out when mailed, the A7 mailing envelope and the A2 reply envelope were printed on Mohawk Britehue Ultra Lime stock, one of the brightest colors in the palette.
The branding was carried over to the gala program, schedule of events, dinner menu insert, and pledge card.
