Joy Products Digital Campaign
Joy Products helps brands promote their business through effective business gifts and product branding. We had just completed their new brand identity, the next step was to revamp and improve their digital presence with a new e-commerce website, social media toolkit, digital content strategy, and an email marketing toolkit.
THE COMPANY STORE
Most promotional sites offer endless options, making locating products and placing orders nearly impossible. Joy wanted a simplified internal company store featuring only their best products, so clients could easily find and order merchandise and quickly place re-orders. The new site needed to be user-friendly, intuitive, and provide value to clients—a tool that is both practical and aesthetically pleasing.
After completing the site planning, navigation strategy, and wireframes, we designed the navigation and page layouts framework. When all was approved, we moved on to programming. We worked closely with our development and SEO partners on the core site programming and testing, including CMS integration, mobile optimization, content migration, SEO optimization and analytics tracking, and e-commerce build-out with product configurator. The final product was a refreshed, easy-to-use custom WooCommerce site with an integrated shopping cart utilizing EPI to pull in products and fulfill orders.
THE FULL PROMO STORE SITE
Knowing clients may need products outside their company store, Joy wanted to add a full ESP promo store to their new site that seamlessly matched Joy’s brand, voice, and design. ASI’s ESP promo store is pre-loaded with thousands of promotional products from trusted suppliers. We worked with the ASI design team to create a store that matched Joy’s site seamlessly. It looked just like any other page on their site. We added “All Products” links to the products navigation and category pages which linked to the full promo store so visitors could navigate the site without noticing the difference.
JOY IN EVERY
Now that Joy had a new identity and website, it was time to get the word out. We built an entire social media toolkit for Joy, complete with social guidelines, avatars, hashtags, icons, graphic assets, social themes, sample posts, and post templates for all platforms. We even provided files for creating product mock-ups with full tutorials.
We then created a comprehensive social media post and blog content plan. The blog strategy included content for 17 articles along with URL slugs, meta descriptions, SEO Keywords, and hashtags. We integrated Joy product links where applicable so readers could easily shop products featured in articles. Along with each blog, we included a related social post, hashtags, and suggestions to encourage engagement, such as questions, surveys, and sharing related stories/photos.
We also designed an email marketing toolkit complete with a custom HTML MailChimp template, digital assets, and graphic templates.
