Our client and visionary genius, Graham Parker, approached us about branding his new initiative (drumroll)… The Fearless Cooperative—a business that handles consulting and management for classical music artists—and its brand needed to achieve a great deal:
Convey the following ideas: risk-taking, liberated artists, confidence,
boldness, disruption.
The brand should feel: positive, surprising, unexpected, happy and open
to possibilities.
We presented several exciting concepts, and Graham chose the final because he was drawn to the way the logo reflects disruption, but also communicates looking forward and reaching toward goals—all objectives the new brand needed to achieve.
The supporting brand package materials integrate a pattern rooted in fashion and textiles, drawing inspiration from batik and giving a real international feel. The stationery system and email signature enabled Graham to reinforce his brand message consistently across all communications.
The Barbour Design Team took my ideas, dreams and hints and turned them into absolute magic.
