(Un)common Thread

Mexican-born designer turned installation artist Gabriel Dawe creates these large-scale installations with colored thread that are really something. Dawe’s use of color and scale, besides being incredible to look at, is also a commentary on “notions of social constructions and their relation to evolutionary theory and the self-organizing force of nature.” Beautiful work.
